Our Website Upgrade

» Visit our website online

In today's world, the Internet is helping medical professionals reach out to their patients in ways that were previously not possible. While feedback from our initial website launch in 2003 has been very positive, I felt it was time to expand our website capabilities in order to provide our current and prospective patients with a better website experience while offering more benefits to our patients:

  • Access critical information about your dental health
  • Make smart choices to solve your dental problems
  • Communicate better with me, your dentist

I believe in providing my patients with knowledge about my practice and service offerings so that they can feel comfortable and make informed decisions about how to best realize their dental needs.

We welcome your feedback about our website, and please include any suggestions about how we can help improve your drsiegel.com experience.

Bisphosphonates and Dental Complications

In recent years, there has been an increasing body of evidence linking the use of bisphosphonates to the occurrence of osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ).

It is very important to let me and my staff know if you are presently taking or have taken Bisphosphonates.

Dr. Siegel's Continuing Education

In an effort to keep up with all the changes in the field of dentistry, Dr Siegel regularly attends continuing education course for the dental professional. Following is a synopsis of the most recent course he has attended.

  • On May 5th, Dr Siegel attended a continuing education course sponsored by the Northern Virginia Dental Society. The seven-hour course was on Esthetics in Dentistry and the lecturer was Dr. Paul Henny.
  • On April 8th, Dr Siegel attended an advanced surgery course in Baltimore. The 7-hour hands-on course centered on soft tissue grafting and was given by the Perio Institute of Seattle, Washington.
  • Next month Dr Siegel will participate in an intensive two-day course on Advanced Cardiac Life Support. All physicians and dentists should be trained in Basic life Support but very few continue on the advanced level.
